MERLIN WOOD WORKSHOP

  Home

Merlin Wood is both a fine woodworking school and a modern woodworking workshop. The workshop is designed primarily to be a school with a traditional but modern workshop in direct support. The School is located in a delightfully rural location overlooking a charming old growth pine forest, close to Hudson village. Merlin Wood is in striking range of the beautiful village of Hudson with its many amenities.

As one would expect within the workshop there is an abundance of woodworking benches for students. The Merlin Wood philosophy requires that every student must have his or her own fully-equipped work bench.

For those considering starting out on the woodworking trail, Merlin Wood has complete hand tool kits to get novice students started out. There is also a complete line of portable power tools for students to use once they have been introduced to the tool.

In the workshop there is a complete array of modern stationary machine tools such as table saws, jointer, planer, band saw, drill presses etc.
