Gary Dover is a practicing cabinetmaker with over 30years of woodworking experience. The program Gary has developed for Merlin Wood focuses on all aspects of fine woodworking within a solid pedagogical framework. Gary's experience in woodworking covers virtually every aspect of the vast world of fine woodworking. Gary's expertise is hand tools and his subjects include traditional furniture making, wood turning, carving, chairmaking, technical drawing, shop maths, planning & procedure. The Merlin Wood hallmark is individual, one-on-one instruction. Teacher to student ratio never exceeds one to three. Merlin Wood instructors are committed to the pursuit of excellence in both woodworking and teaching.
