Merlin Wood School of Traditional Fine Woodworking is both a woodworking school and workshop and is located in a traditional woodshop nestled between the charming equestrian town of St. Lazare and the beautifully mature Ottawa River town of Hudson in the province of Quebec. Both towns are extremely picturesque with an abundance of tourist sites close by. The Merlin Wood School is extremely accessible from the West Island of Montreal and is approached by leaving the Trans-Canada Highway (40) at Exit 26.
      The Merlin Wood School and Workshop is well equipped with woodworking benches and stationary machine tools such as table saws, jointers and planers, bandsaw, morticer, drill presses etc. The school also has several starter tool kits for those feeling their way as they enter the exciting world of fine woodworking..
